Maggie and Matt didn’t let the rain dampen all the camping fun and wedding weekend gaiety planned for their family and friends at the rustic Tranquility Farm wedding venue in Purcellville, Virginia.
Tranquility Farm was the perfect venue for their casual, fun and “not stuffy” wedding. There was plenty of space for Solid Ground Shelters to set up the glamping tents for all the guests.
Raincoats and boots were the uniform of the day. Maggie spent time looking inward, calmly writing out her vows while her friends and family brought the last minute details together. Matt’s “folk-ameri-something-grass-n-stuff quintet from the hillbilly wilds of the nation’s capital” band, The Stick Band, played at the ceremony and cocktail hour. I was lucky enough to hear them warm up.Then the jitters set in. Then he sees her….The barn where the ceremony was held was amazing! Maggie’s sister, Liz, was the officiant keeping the theme of a family affair going. Stealing kisses. You can just feel the love!Stealing a quiet moment before the festivities start. This is what happens when you tell them to relax while you check the lighting.
