Melissa + Telly decided to have a relaxed Annapolis courthouse wedding with their nearest and dearest ending the night with a delicious sunset dinner at the Chart House.
When I arrived at the Annapolis Courthouse Melissa was already there with her family anxiously awaiting her hubby-to-be’s arrival. The courthouse is really a lovely space to photograph in. With the high ceilings, pockets of natural light, and the wall of windows – it was fun!An impromptu first look! 🙂I was super lucky to have the talented Doug Pettway with me to help capture the day, drag my bag, and just have a good time!Melissa made sure to give us TONS of portrait time, so of course I’m going to take advantage! We ended up walking around the immediate area of the courthouse stopping at the Maryland Inn and St. Anne’s Parish in Church Circle. Then the four of us hopped on the trolley to head to the oh so popular, Annapolis docks. I loved that they were getting so much attention! Smile, waves, honks, and many congratulations.Melissa’s dress billowed and flowed with every step and breeze – it was gorgeous! From the docks we continued our walk to the Chart House for a wardrobe change and a laid back dinner with their family and friends. When we arrived their family and friends were adding personal touches to the tables with salt water taffy in mason jars for each guest, personalized menus and fresh flowers. The night wouldn’t have been complete without heading out to the dock for some last portraits at sunset. Thanks for having us along – it was a blast!
