Shannon and Mark chose the beautiful Bishop Gardens at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington DC to exchange vows, rings and pop some bubbles. This was my first time EVER going to the National Cathedral, and I hope it won’t be the last.
Shannon and Mark wanted to make things official with just the kids and a few friends before heading across country for the big celebration. The little stone gazebo in the Bishops Garden was the perfect intimate setting for them to share their vows and exchange rings while the boys supplied the bubbles.
If you’ve never been to The Washington National Cathedral, do yourself a favor and make plans to visit. The gardens and grounds are open from dusk till dawn everyday. I was in awe, and I probably wore them out stopping every five steps, because I found another perfect spot. I think this is my new favorite DC wedding venue. 🙂

Looking at a small wedding, date is still unclear but possibly towards the end of November.
