Christa + Jennifer | Maryland Same Sex Wedding | Lake Elkhorn Park

I joined Christa and Jennifer for their intimate Maryland same sex wedding at Lake Elkhorn Park. There was something I noticed that was unusual about this wedding when I first started talking to Christa. It was on a Sunday. Now, I don’t ask why couples pick their date, because there could be various personal reasons. Who am I to ask? I ended up finding out they picked a Sunday to be able to keep their same anniversary date. You see, one year prior to the date they had a ceremony thinking that Maryland would never legalize gay marriage. Christa and Jennifer’s wedding touched me even more, and I had to choke back the tears. Finally they were able to “make it legal” 🙂
