Usually I like to start my blog post with a song, but I think this wedding needs a little explaining. Lori and Dan decided that springtime in Washington DC would be perfect for their wedding. Not only did we get to photograph at the Lincoln Memorial and the use the cherry blossoms at The Tidal Basin as a backdrop – they were serenaded at the base of the Lincoln Memorial by The Touchtone’s. Serenaded!! That was the coolest thing ever. Really. There wasn’t a dry eye. It was incredible! I know Lori and Dan felt almost like movie stars with the hoards of people cheering them on and wanting to take their picture with them. We had so much fun – not to mention the party on wheels aka the limo:). I was lucky enough to have Doug Pettway join us to witness all this awesomeness. Then the party continued at The Decatur House in Lafayette Square. Live music and a bunch of dancin’ fools makes for an awesome night.
Thank you Lori and Dan for being dancing machines and all around awesome:)
Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can’t help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin?
If I can’t help falling in love with you
Like a river flows shorely to the sea
Darling so it goes some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can’t help falling in love with you
Like a river flows shorely to the sea
Darling so it goes some things are meant to be
Take my hand take my whole life too
For I can’t help falling in love with you
For I can’t help falling in love with you
