Darcy and Chris couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for their autumn Hillbrook Inn wedding. West Virginia in the fall is amazeballs – there, I said it. Family started to slowly trickled in for their peek of Darcy. Chris meet us with his guys at the Hawthorn House. Darcy and Chris decided on a first look which gave us time for some early morning portraits, and some fun wedding party pictures. That is not coffee in those flasks. 😉The flasks were a perfect gift, and a great way to calm the nerves. 🙂The ceremony area had beautiful light. That’s how you keep a photographer happy. 🙂Darcy and Chris had wind chimes that were handcrafted by a friend, set up at the ceremony in remembrance of family that couldn’t be there. I loved that small sentimental touch. Photobombed by a goose! Can we have fall days like this forever? Chris went hardcore! He got his wedding band tattooed matching Darcy’s perfectly.Hillbrook Inn was the gift that kept on giving. I can image every season would be perfect for intimate weddings here.If you haven’t noticed yet, there is a significant height difference between Darcy and Chris. To give Darcy a boost, so to speak, they had this personalized step stool made. You can’t see it, but under Darcy’s dress is the stool. 🙂The flask makes an appearance again!
