So marks the end of another year. Another year of wonderful moments, beautiful people, and incredible places in and around Annapolis. Join me as I take a really long walk through memory lane of my favorite Annapolis wedding photography, and then take you down some side streets. 🙂 I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for me!
I loved how the bridesmaids were trying to sneak a peek during Tony and Lindsay’s first look at the Maryland Yacht Club.
I got to photography this wedding at the elegant Hay-Adams with Jessie Mary Photography.
This engagement picture taken at Patterson Park is seriously one of my favorite of all time.
I have four of my own – this sort of stuff doesn’t phase me at all. 🙂
Before a wedding or a session, I give myself a little pep talk to always look for the light. Sometimes it is just perfect.
The excitement of Christina and Malhar was INFECTIOUS!
The wedding cake picture is from the super swanky DAR National Society with thanks to Jessie Mary Photography for letting me tag along to her awesome weddings.
The 13th Floor in Baltimore was an elegant and unique setting for this wedding reception with a dance club vibe. The Baltimore Museum of Industry was the perfect venue for Joan and Joe’s Baltimore themed wedding. We literally had five minutes before the sky opened at Tony and Clare’s wedding at Celebrations at the Bay. Yay for dramatic skies!Another one from The Hay-Adams with Jessie Mary Photography. Can you tell I was really excited to photograph there? I mean, it’s across the street from the freakin’ White House!
Anybody that steps in front of my lens will soon find out my obsession with silhouettes. I was extremely honored to photograph this super special, intimate wedding. We had soooo much fun wandering around The Mall for Lori and Dan’s wedding hitting it just in time for the cherry blossoms in Washington DC.A bride getting ready is one of my favorite parts of the day. Thanks to Jessie Mary Photography again 🙂A shiny floor and a bank of windows makes a happy photographer. Jessie Mary Photography and I like to have fun 🙂When I second with Jessie Mary Photography I get to hang out with the guys. Oh they things they say, and I’m laughing the whole time!Poor Jessica was soaked to the bone, but look at that sky! Totally worth it. Especially since I was already inside photographing cocktail hour. 😉The wall of windows at Celebrations at the Bay provides a beautiful waterfront view for guests even at night! There is just something so majestic when the ceremony is held in a cathedral. You can see the rest of the images here from St. Francias Hall on Jessica’s blog.I’m not sure of the back story on this lucha libre mask, but it sure did make for a funny surprise!Just stand in the middle of the street! We’ll be just fine.:) I loved that Jason was game while I tried my hand at The Brenizer Method.Morning sessions give us any location allllllllll to ourselves even at the busy Baker Park in Frederick on a beautiful spring day.I never wanted to leave Mona and Chris’ building….until I saw their rooftop view. Holy smokes. These dogs gave me a run for my money, but I loved getting all photojournalist with them.Never leave that patch of sun, beautiful flower girl in the coral tulle dress. This Washington DC elopement was the sweetest wedding I ever photographed. Adrienne had the cutest little touches for their dinner for two.The Gramercy Mansion was the perfect setting for this simple and a little bit retro wedding. There is nothing more touching than a groom when he sees his bride walking down the aisle towards him. I get a lump in my throat every time I look at this picture.Father and daughter time – a must for your wedding day.Don’t mind me if I turn lights off. That’s me controlling the light, so I can get images like this of the flower girl at Grey Rock Mansion. Nothing, NOTHING, beats a classic bridal portrait like this one from Heather and Joe’s wedding. You can just here the collective “awwww” during this father-daughter dance.Thank you Ashley for the best reaction ever during the garter retrieval! When all you have to do is walk down one path to get a ton of different photos – you know Georgetown is a cool place.I love blue eyes, don’t you?I couldn’t contain my excitement, because I knew I was able to catch Mona’s quick peek around the corner at the historic Tudor Place. It’s the little things. 🙂It’s moments like these that makes me love what I do. Two families embracing after their kids have tied the knot.
